“During lockdown we planted some sunflower seeds, so that inspired me to do this series of drawings.
I never plan or sketch what I am about to draw. I just do it. If I’m in a sunflower mood, lots of sunflowers come out!”

Camille Phoenix is a 12-year-old artist living in the UK.
During lockdown she has been working on a new series of drawings, fashion sketches, comic pages and paintings… always making and creating with her own distinct style and sense of humour. Camille is an invited artist at the Art Car Boot Fair events held annually in London and other cities, and at festivals across the UK. This has given her the unique opportunity to host drawing workshops, create work and build a following.
